My Origin Story
In March 2024, my original rescuer noticed that I was looking rough and kept trying to enter her home. She took me to the vet where they gave me medication for a severe upper respiratory infection and malnutrition.
Unfortunately, my rescuer could not foster me long term, as she did not have enough space, so I was brought to my current foster home where I have been recuperating and getting stronger every day since.
Other facts about me
-
I am spayed, microchipped, and up to date on my shots.
-
I'm small! I weigh about 7lbs.
-
I am quiet and don't really meow, but sometimes I "beep" when I am happy.
-
I am an indoor-only cat now. I've had too many misadventures outside!
-
I need to be in a single cat household, as I don't like to share!
You're a funky looking cat, Stevie
I have corneal scarring on both of my eyes, probably due to recurring URIs. My left eye is more impacted and the pupil does not dilate. I can still see however, although I do appreciate a night light when it gets dark. My eyes are how I got my name, which is officially Stevie Wonder Jr.
In addition, my jaw was broken a long time ago and has healed crooked. I'm not in pain, and can still eat and groom myself, all it really means is that my tongue tends to stick out!
